The pay range is $56,400.00 - $101,500.00

The Procurement team partners across the business to maximize every resource, asset, and relationship. We focus on operational excellence, client partnership, and continuous improvement—delivering value through efficient, transparent, and strategic sourcing and procurement processes.

As a Professional Procurement, Purchasing Operations, you will:

· Develop strong expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, tools, and systems (SAP, Ariba/Go-Cart, Salesforce, etc.).

· Understand how to create and manage purchase orders in Go-Cart and Skylight ensuring accurate, timely transactions and smooth supplier engagement.

· Provide front-line MyHelp support to Target’s enterprise users, leveraging category knowledge to resolve questions and identify trends for improvement.

· Develop meaningful relationships with Planning, Store Ops, Indirect Procurement, and ISPM team, etc. to strategically align and influence end user needs and enterprise priorities.

· Leverage storytelling, analysis of data, and AI tools to build compelling strategies that can influence partners to make improvements that better support Go-Cart and the buying process

· Collaborate with TII teams on category management strategy and MyHelp quality control, focused on learning, sharing ideas, and driving global consistency across the team to improve user experience.

· Drive quality control process for support teams (US and TII) focused on learning, sharing ideas, and unified consistency across the team with responses and solutions.

· Build automated solutions, reports, and dashboards to drive compliance, efficiency, and decision-making.

· Document and share best practices, training materials, and process updates for partners and the broader COE.

· Participate in cross-functional initiatives focused on automation, category management, supplier performance, and enterprise purchasing strategy.

· Ability to communicate across multiple teams and prioritize competing/multiple goals effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Scope of Responsibility:

Executes core purchasing operations (PO creation, invoice reconciliation, supplier support) along with ownership for category management supporting Enterprise buying and process improvements.

Problem-Solving:

Troubleshoots system and process issues, recommending improvements that deliver efficiencies, innovation, and client satisfaction.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Builds strong relationships with enterprise users, suppliers, and procurement partners; serves as a trusted operational guide.

Leadership/Mentoring:

Individual contributor with opportunities to mentor peers, share best practices, and support rotational learning across Purchasing Operations.

Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

Currently this team works a minimum of 1 day a week at our Brooklyn Park campus. This is fluid and may increase over time given the business and role expectation.

Qualifications

· 4-year college degree or equivalent experience

· 1+ years of relevant procurement, purchasing, or business operations experience

· Strong written/verbal communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

· Experience with SAP, Ariba/GoCart, and Salesforce preferred

· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical aptitude leveraging AI tools

· Ability to balance competing priorities and work independently with limited direction

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
