A role with Space, Presentation and Transitions (“SPT”) means you’re on a mission to create better instore experiences for our Store Team Members and guests. We are responsible for ensuring the right item has the right amount of space in the right location in the right store at the right time. We do this by first leveraging analytics and partnership with our Merchandising and Store Operations teams to create a transition plan to determine how much and when change is needed to deliver assortment and presentation newness in our stores. Then, we initiate each transition by analyzing and allocating the appropriate amount of space for every business category for every store (often referred to as “adjacency”). Finally, we complete the transition by building a presentation (often referred to as “POG”) and creating a location for our assortment within each store using additional analysis, further partnership with our Merchandising cross-functional partners and a set of presentation objectives.
As a Sr Business Partner in SPT, you will lead the partnership across merchant leaders to drive adjacency and space strategy. In this role, you will coordinate and execute space strategies across a complex cross-functional team to elevate adjacency architecture and ensure alignment on priorities, timing, and key deliverables. Storytelling and communication will be critical skills as you influence merchant leaders on space moves and transitions. You will lead a global team in India to bring space strategies to life and ensure accurate execution across store ties and adjacency outputs. You will engage merchandising partners to develop and evolve adjacency direction in support of new store and remodel programs. You will also lead special projects related to new merchandising strategies, asset protection initiatives, small format space solutions, and planned fixture configurations. We’ll support you along the way with robust onboarding, as well as personal and career development, to help you grow as a strong SPT Sr Business Partner.
