He’s cute. He’s cuddly. His sweater is covered with … kittens? (Who says dogs don’t have a sense of humor?) Best of all, he’s all about helping kids. Decked out in a snuggly holiday sweater, Target’s collectible 2012 Holiday Bullseye Plush Dog is making memories with families across the country.

While the plush, which was featured in Target’s 2012 Holiday Toy Cataloglink opens in a new window, has officially sold out online at Target.com, it’s available in limited quantities at Target stores across the country while supplies last, with the entire $14.99 purchase price*—up to $750,000 in total—going to benefit the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospitallink opens in a new window. This is the second year in a row we’ve offered the limited-edition plush to raise funds for St. Jude.

Our dedication to the kids of St. Jude began in 1996 with our commitment to build the hospital’s long-term residential facility, which was designed to be a home away from home for patients and their families. Since opening in 1999, Target House has been a place of comfort for more than 1,500 families as their children battle cancer and other catastrophic diseases at St. Jude.

Celebrating 50 years of life-saving treatments
Target’s not the only one celebrating a 50th anniversary in 2012. Throughout the year, we’ve helped St. Jude commemorate its own 50 years of providing life-saving treatments to kids.

At a star-studded gala in Los Angeles, Target Group Director Brian Boucher of Springfield, Pa., and his daughter, Jordyn, who survived Leukemia with the help of her St. Jude team, were keynote speakers and guests of honor. Later, in June, we hosted the Summer Splash, a carnival at Target House for kids, families and staff featuring a performance by singer and star of the 2012 film “Sparkle” Jordin Sparks, and a chance for the kids to hang out, sing karaoke and tie-dye shirts with Target athletes like skateboarder Paul Rodriguez, motocross racer Ryan Dungey, freestyle skier Torin Yater-Wallace and BMX rider Kevin Robinson.

Most recently, more than 300 team members across the country took part in the St. Jude Give thanks. Walk.link opens in a new window 5K on Nov. 17 to raise funds for St. Jude.
