According to Pinterest, more than 700,000 party planning-related items are pinned every day. And Target’s picking up on this trend, launching three party planning collections in partnership with three of Pinterest’s top pinners.

“Pinterest is such a popular destination for entertaining inspiration, so we’re partnering with the platform’s top tastemakers to bring their inspiration to life through beautifully designed party collections,” says Rick Gomez, senior vice president, Marketing. “We are proud of Target’s pioneering efforts in the design space and this collaboration is the first-of-its-kind in retail.”

Throughout 2014, Joy Cho of Oh Joy!, Jan Halvarson of Poppytalk and Kate Arends of Wit & Delight will create limited-time-only collections that include party décor, paper products and serving pieces designed in their signature aesthetic. Cho’s collection kicks off the program and will arrive in U.S. and Canadian stores and on Target.com March 16. Halvarson and Arends will launch their collections June 22 and Sept. 14, respectively.

Cho, known for her bold use of color and pattern on her Pinterest page and blog, found inspiration for her collection—which includes everything from whimsical banners and sparkly party hats—from a modern garden party. "I really wanted to create a collection that helps people make their parties pop, even if they don't have time to add those handmade touches themselves," says Cho.
