Partnering with the business and other technology teams, this group identifies and governs the appropriate technologies and technology practices for use at Target, ensuring a tight alignment between the strategies of the business and the investments in IT. Specific areas in this team include Technology Strategy & Planning, PMO, and Enterprise Architecture.

Infrastructure and Support is a primary division of the Target Technology Services pyramid. Its core role is to engineer, implement and operate infrastructure solutions throughout Target. The division also enables company-wide information security. Infrastructure and Support is broken into six functional organizations: Plan, Build—comprised of Enterprise Engineering, Network and Telephony Engineering and Security and Systems Engineering IT Operations—Support Services, Secure, and Infrastructure and Support Bangalore.
