Forget something important on your holiday list? Haven’t even started shopping yet? Don’t panic! Count on your local Target store to help you get every last thing you need.
“The Saturday before Christmas is expected once again to be one of our busiest days, and this time of year is when the Target team really shines,” said Target CEO Brian Cornell. “They’ve been preparing around the clock to make last-minute shopping trips easy, with guest-favorite services like Order Pickup, Drive Up and Shipt. Our stores have never looked better, and they’re well-stocked with an incredible assortment, whether you’re shopping for gifts or stocking up before the holidays.”
Three-quarters of Americans live within 10 miles of a Target store. So if you still need to make a quick trip, we offer pickup and delivery options you won’t find anywhere else.
- On Christmas Eve, guests can place orders for Order Pickup and Drive Up until 6 p.m. and pick them up that night before the 10 p.m. closing time.
- Guests can use Same-day delivery with Shipt to have purchases delivered to their doorstep in as soon as one hour up until Christmas Eve.
These options are becoming game-changers as more guests take advantage of the extra ease. We’ve seen a 50 percent increase in Order Pickup sales year over year—and this holiday season, we plan to fulfill three times the Order Pickup volume compared to last year.
And if time runs out, you can always send a Target GiftCard via email or text any day of the year, or choose an e-gift with GiftNow, which lets the recipient change the size and color, or swap for something else, before it ships.
Remember, Target stores are closed on Christmas Day. But if you’re lucky enough to find a Target GiftCard under the tree, we’ll see you bright and early Dec. 26!
