Gather Round: Get Your First Look at Target’s Holiday Campaign

Hearts are skipping in anticipation—not just of tinsel, twinkling lights and perfectly-wrapped presents, but of those little moments that count most. When we put down the phones and play charades. Roll up our sleeves in the kitchen, then pull up a chair to revel in a delicious meal—and incredible company. Clink our glasses in a toast to friendship and family. That’s exactly what we’re celebrating with our 2018 holiday campaign, “Gather Round.”

“Our campaign for the holidays is joyful, celebratory and distinctly Target, highlighting the moments—big and small—that have friends and family gathering round all season long,” says Rick Gomez, Target executive vice president and chief marketing officer. “This year, the campaign shows off our amazing products, unbeatable value and all the easier-than-ever ways to shop, while capturing the spirit of togetherness at the heart of every holiday tradition.”

It’s our modern-day take on the 1950s hit “Round and Round.” In true Target fashion, we teamed up with singer-songwriter Sia to create a unique take on the classic. It’s the backdrop to our entire holiday campaign, one of three Target-exclusive tracks on Sia’s upcoming holiday album, “Everyday is Christmas.” (Or, stream it on Spotify, Pandora and iTunes). But we didn’t stop there—we asked Latin-recording artist Natalia Lafourcade to add her own spin for our Spanish-language spots. #MoreMusic, indeed.

And to make sure you’re making the most of every minute, we’re serving up all the easy, stress-free ways to bring home the holidays this season, from Free 2-day Shipping, Order Pickup and Drive Up to Same Delivery shopped by Shipt and more. Starting this month, you’ll be transported to a modern holiday market, complete with oversized garlands, colorful awnings, playful graphics and messages and our very own Bullseye, Target’s four-legged Bullterrier mascot, of course.
