Do you know a kid with endless curiosity, who loves putting things together, taking them apart and exploring how they work? You’ll definitely want to check out Target’s newest Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) building kits. Kids and teens alike are already loving the first assortment of STEM products we served up last fall—from Kano’s Complete Computer Kit to Cozmo by Anki, the coding robot.
Our latest lineup of STEM kits arrive this month in our electronics department, and they’re perfect for beginners of all ages. Check out a few of our faves:

Nintendo Labo
Great for ages 6-12
These do-it-yourself project kits connect into your Nintendo Switch console to use for interactive gameplay. Build cardboard Toy-Con creations, from remote-control cars to musical instruments, with the Labo Variety Kit ($69.99), or design your own Toy-Con suit with the Labo Robot Kit ($79.99) and become a robot in the game. Pick them up on Target.com or at any Target store starting April 20.

Google AIY
Great for ages 14 and up
These project kits encourage teens to build their own artificial intelligence from scratch. Google AIY Vision ($89.99) lets users learn about image recognition as they build their own smart camera. Google AIY Voice ($49.99) teaches users about voice recognition as they build their own smart speaker, which works with Google Assistant. They’ll be available starting April 15 at all stores and Target.com.

Augie by Pai
Great for ages 5 and up
If your kid is ready for an intro to all things STEM and loves video games, this little robot is the perfect pal. Augie by Pai ($199.99) features coding challenges and games designed to stimulate kids’ creativity. An honoree at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show, Augie is the first premiere coding robot equipped with augmented reality technology. It’s available at Target.com and in select stores (call your local store to check for availability).
