If you’re a fan of “The Voice”—or great holiday music—you might want to sit down (dramatically, preferably in a spinning chair)... Because we’ve got a fun surprise in the works. We’re teaming up with “The Voice” finalists to create some epic holiday mash-ups. And it’ll all play out in four 30-second performances during tonight’s “Live Top 8 Performances” edition of “The Voice.”
Why? Well, we love surprising fans with exclusive content during some of their favorite pop culture moments (oh hi, Gwen). And we’re all about spreading extra joy this holiday season. After all, the entire holiday experience at Target, from our marketing and in-store décor and events to media moments and more, is centered around “Together’s the Joy”—celebrating joyful moments with those who matter most. But this mash-up collaboration’s special because it brings “Together’s the Joy” to life like only Target—and eight super-talented voices—can.
“Our partnership with ‘The Voice’ is one more way we’re spreading joy this holiday season—and a perfect extension of our ‘Together’s the Joy’ campaign,” says Rick Gomez, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Target. “By bringing different artists and styles together, we’ll turn holiday classics into exclusive new duets and create an even more magical performance. It’s pure fun, and totally Target.”
