If anyone knows a thing or two about juggling busy schedules, its husband-and-wife duo Jorge Bernal and Karla Birbragher. Between high profile jobs—he’s a television host and she’s a celebrity stylist!—two young kids and the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it’s a good thing they have a set shopping plan.
Now that they’ve made their list and checked it twice, we asked the pair to let us in on the rest of their holiday prep, including everything from favorite family traditions with kids Lucas and Kylie to what’s on their own holiday wish lists!
“One of our favorite holiday traditions is getting matching family holiday pajamas! From the grandparents to the kids, we all wake up Christmas morning in our PJs, have breakfast and open presents together,” Karla said. “This year, we bought the Family Sleep Santa Pajama Collection!”
“My top gift pick is definitely the Nintendo Switch. I’ve been a fan of video games all my life, but now that I have more responsibilities and less time, the Switch is a perfect fit,” Jorge said. “I could play at home on my big screen TV and if I have to get up and go, I can grab it and take it with me. It’s also another way I can bond with my son Lucas. He loves video games as much as I do.”
“I would love the Wit and Delight hardside carry on luggage in copper,” Karla added. “I’ve been wanting to replace the luggage I have and when I saw that one I fell in love! Especially in that color—it’s so fashionable and pretty! I can’t just pick one item, so my option two would be the Threshold stemless stainless steel wine tumblers with the fun messages. All four would be amazing so I can use them when I have my girlfriends over.”
“If we could pick one thing to gift everyone on our list it would undoubtedly be the Apple TV. It’s such a great gift for the whole family! Adults love it and kids do too. You can watch movies, listen to music and play games. We have two in our home and we use them daily,” Jorge said.
“We love shopping at Target for all things holiday because you can find all you need in just one place,” Karla said. “We can shop for our holiday outfits, the kids’ outfits, gifts for the family, holiday decor, holiday wrapping supplies… absolutely everything!”
