A decked out Christmas tree, flickering candles, a gorgeous snack spread and signature drinks can only mean one thing... Camille Styles hosted a holiday cocktail party! The Target Entertaining Expert thought of every little detail so you don’t have to, from the menu down to the prep the night before. And the best part? She’s made the party-throwing process fun, easy and super affordable. Check out the stunning photos and hear more from the expert, below!

“The holidays are a special time of year, full of magic for both children and adults, and a party allows us to celebrate with the people we love,” Camille said. “When I throw a party, I usually focus on a couple of ‘wow’ decor elements (like this luxe, faux fur Threshold throw blanket and oversized throw pillow), delicious seasonal food and a festive cocktail. By keeping things simple and focusing on just a few details, I’m able to enjoy the evening and create great memories with my guests. Because after all, isn’t that what parties are all about?”

“Setting up a beautiful bar cart can seem very involved and sets the scene for a festive cocktail party, but it’s actually so simple to create when you’re armed with the right pieces. I like a great cocktail shakermodern decanters and a glam set of rose gold bar tools.”

“When entertaining a large group, I always prepare a large batch cocktail in a beautiful pitcher or punch bowl before the party starts—that way guests can help themselves throughout the evening. This year I’m making ‘Cherry Sparkle’ champagne cocktails made of cherry liqueur, bitters and champagne with a cute maraschino cherry and sugar cube garnish. It’s festive and fun!”

“The quickest way to add ambiance to a party is through flickering candlelight,” Camille noted. “This Threshold etched glass votive candle set is a chic way to do it. I also love the fun reindeer print on these Threshold stoneware appetizer plates—they’re the perfect size for cheese and crackers or dessert. I’m sure I’ll be getting them out for many holidays to come!”

Her final pro tip? “A detailed to-do list will save your sanity. Before the party, I create a master list with every task that has to be accomplished before guests arrive. I keep my list somewhere readily accessible and then follow the schedule to the letter, which allows me to accomplish everything without the stress of worrying that I’m forgetting something important!”
