Fulfilling online orders during the holiday season is no small feat, which is why we’re relying more on our store network to help get guests their orders faster than ever before. Check out this handy little list to see some of the different ways guests can shop Target online, and how the Target team gets it done:

Order Pickup
Need your order, like, now? Using Order Pickup, guests can place orders online, then pick them up at a nearby store. More than 95 percent of Order Pickup orders are ready in an hour.

Come Black Friday, guests will be able to use Order Pickup to snag nearly all our stores’ doorbuster deals, without ever setting foot in the aisles.

Target Restock
When holiday obligations pile up, the last thing anyone has time for is a trip to get dog food and diapers. Target Restock, the next-day essentials delivery service now available to about a quarter of the U.S. population, lets you order those items online and have them delivered from stores to your doorstep, hassle-free.

The service is available in 11 major markets and smaller cities like Athens, Georgia, Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and Santa Rosa, California. Even better, orders now placed as late as 7 p.m. local time, Monday through Friday, will still be delivered the next day.

myCheckout
Also new this holiday season, Target store team members can now place online orders for guests right from the sales floor. This service, which works through an app called myCheckout on team members' handheld devices, is designed to help guests who can’t find the right color or size while they’re shopping in store—or when the item they want is out of stock. The team member can use myCheckout to scan availability at nearby stores and online, then take guests’ payment on the spot with the handheld device.

Ship from Store
“Ship from Store” means Target can fulfill guests’ online orders simply by pulling product from store shelves and shipping it to guests directly—cutting out the time it would take to go through a fulfillment center. Target is working behind the scenes to deliver online orders faster than ever.

Last year over the Black Friday weekend, stores fulfilled more than half of Target’s online orders. Now that 1,400 Target stores—more than 3/4th of all Target locations—are shipping guests’ Target.com orders this year, we expect that Black Friday figure to grow.

Google Express
For those who literally just want to bark out a shopping list while lying on the couch after a long day, this too is possible thanks to Target’s partnership with Google. With Google Assistant (via Google Home devices and select smartphones), guests can use voice commands to shop Target’s store assortment on Google Express, and have items shipped to their home in just two days.

And, of course, don’t forget it all starts with free holiday shipping on Target.com orders from Nov. 1 - Dec. 23! No matter how guests want to shop or what they’ve got going on this holiday, Target has ways to make shopping easier, faster and more convenient than ever.
