Target Restock, the next-day essentials delivery service Target has been testing since this summer, is expanding to guests in the Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, St. Louis, and Washington, D.C./Baltimore areas.

Busy Target guests in these cities, along with existing Target Restock markets, can save time by having household essentials like paper towels and cereal delivered to their homes quickly – here’s how:

  1. Visit Target Restock and choose from more than 15,000 popular essentials — from personal care items to baby product and cleaning supplies.

  2. Add the things you need to your box (up to 45 pounds — about the size of a shopping cart) and watch the capacity tracker to see how much room is left.

  3. Order by 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and we’ll deliver your box to your door the next day for just $4.99.

“Guests need to keep daily essentials stocked, but finding time to buy them is tough — and it can be even more of a challenge when you’re talking about large, bulky items,” said Dawn Block, Target senior vice president of digital. “If we can help our busy guests check off their shopping lists quickly and more easily, that’s more time they can spend with their families.”

So far, some of the most popular items for Target Restock in the three existing markets – Dallas, Denver and Minneapolis – have been on-the-go snacks, beverages, cereal, macaroni and cheese and paper towels.

The service is now live in 10 markets and will be available to guests in the San Francisco area beginning in mid-October — meaning the service area will reach 70 million people, about one-fifth of the U.S. population.

Target Restock leverages Target’s store network to get digital orders packed and shipped swiftly. It’s the latest example of how Target is combining stores and digital to make shopping more convenient for guests.

Stay tuned for more Target Restock updates in the future as we continue to fine-tune and test new enhancements.
