It’s that time of year again! New York Fashion Week (NYFW), known as one of the fall’s most highly anticipated to-dos for fashionistas, is off to the races. We’ve seen the latest and greatest from past Target design partners like Jason Wu, Adam Lippes and Prabal Gurung, and we’ve partnered with some of the industry’s top organizations to celebrate all things fashion and design. Business of Fashion (BoF)
Target’s new partnership with the Business of Fashion — an internationally renowned online portal dedicated to retail and fashion news — kicked off Saturday with a spectacular gala feting the 2017 BoF 500. The BoF 500, published annually, is a professional index of the top 500 people shaping the fashion industry. Target’s executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, Mark Tritton, joined the Business of Fashion in toasting the honorees and celebrating our year-long sponsorship.
Throughout 2018, Target will be working with The Business of Fashion on a variety of marketing initiatives, sponsored features, advertising, social media endeavors and industry events, helping to keep us on pace in the ever-evolving retail and fashion industry. Stay tuned for more!

Inclusivity is a pillar of our brand, so as the presenting sponsor of 2017’s theCURVYcon — a two-day conference celebrating the plus-size industry, founded by bloggers Chastity Garner and CeCe Olisa — Target hosted a range of fabulous events including a fitness class led by C9 Champion brand ambassador Massy Arias and a brunch at Target studio to toast attendees. Target’s senior vice president of apparel and accessories, Michelle Wlazlo also participated in a “Dear Retailer” panel alongside other retail colleagues committed to delivering great fashion in all sizes.
