Which are your go-to makeup products?

How do you keep your makeup looking fresh for hours on end?
In Miami, it feels like summer all year long! I’ve found that the key to preserving my makeup is a great primer. My go-to is the Honest Beauty Everything Primer. It helps keep my makeup intact from day to night. When sculpting my face, I tend to use powder-based products such as the PIXI by Petra Strobe & Chisel Palette. I tend to shy away from cream-based products for definition, as they make my face look oily in the heat.
Which makeup look is your favorite to rock during the summer?
I love a good sun-kissed glow. It’s a toned-down look that is easy to accomplish during the summer as I spend a lot of time with my daughters at the pool or beach, which also gives me a nice glow. I always make sure to apply sunscreen! I’ve been loving the new Pacifica Coconut Probiotic SPF 30 Mineral Bronzing Sunscreen, which gives me a bronzed look while I take in some Vitamin D. I tie the look together by enhancing my cheeks with bronzer and apply a quick mist of Fig & Yarrow Complexion Water Orange Blossom Lavender to refresh my face during those hot days.
What touch-up tips do you use for taking your makeup from day to night?
Makeup is like magic, but all magic has its tricks! Touchups are essential. To go from day to night, first touch up your foundation and then refresh your blush and bronzer. A bright blush, like the Honest Beauty Cream Blush, is needed to maintain a fresh look. Layer on shimmery shadows and highly pigmented eyeliner. Double up on mascara and then for the finishing touch, pile on the lipstick.
