Nobody brings the magic of the season quite like Target—and we brought it full-force to New York City this week with the premiere of our spectacular holiday production, The Toycracker.
The eight-minute mini musical is Target’s modern take on The Nutcracker, and stars John Legend as the Rat King and Chrissy Teigen as the Nutcracker (with cameos from some of the season’s hottest toys, of course). Our holiday TV spots have been leading up to this big moment, and The Toycracker debuts nationwide this Sunday, Dec. 11, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC during the network premiere of Disney’s “Frozen.”
This week, Target hosted a surprise-filled event to offer a few lucky attendees a sneak peek at the film. Among the guests were John and Chrissy, and actresses Olivia Wilde and Naomi Watts. Even Bullseye the dog—who co-directed The Toycracker—was on hand to personally welcome his adoring fans. Take a look inside the event:

In addition to being among the first to see the mini musical, attendees got an all-access pass to the backstage area, alive with excitement of a Broadway show on the brink of curtain call. They also joined the cast party after the show to decorate cookies and take photos with Bullseye.
