Tonight’s Country Music Association (CMA) Awards honored country music royalty. But one superstar stole the spotlight on and off stage: The one and only Garth Brooks. He performed a medley with wife Trisha Yearwood, and then surprised fans with #MoreMusic four more times—during commercial breaks—all to celebrate and share a peek at the 10-disc Garth Brooks: The Ultimate Collection, only at Target starting November 11. That’s two weeks before you’ll find his new album anywhere else!
The collection’s unlike anything Garth’s done before. “We spent the last three-and-a-half years of our lives remixing, remastering… everything’s new in the box,” says Garth. “It’s got the 25th Anniversary edition of ‘Friends in Low places’ and some of my favorite things that we never got to put out. When you talk about music, that’s heart and soul. And when you talk about Target, that’s what they do.”

And the CMAs? “It’s the perfect cultural event to showcase our exclusive boxed set,” says Todd Waterbury, Target’s chief creative officer. “We worked closely with Garth on the spots, bringing to life each disc in the album in a distinct and memorable way that we think will leave fans wanting more.”
