Sweet! Sugar Paper’s Back at Target to Elevate Your Workspace with New Office Essentials

We got a first look at Sugar Paper for Target's exclusive assortment of office essentials, and we were like kids in a candy store: We wanted it all.

You might recall Sugar Paper for Target from our holiday collection of festive wrap and trim, or from our current assortment of stylish planners. Our guests love the line so much that we’re expanding it to cover all things office—in signature Sugar Paper style, of course.

Available in early July, the collection will contain nearly 50 office essentials, including a killer high-gloss desk, to inspire and brighten workspaces with its chic patterns, bold colors and a touch of luxe.

Sugar Paper co-founders Chelsea Shukov and Jamie Grobecker talked to us about designing the collection, their favorite pieces and more!

What inspired you to foray into office essentials?

CS: We were inspired to create a line of elevated office basics, because so many of the everyday office items we use don’t represent our style and certainly don’t feel special. We spend so much time at our desks each day, and when we were approached to create a line that could heighten our daily workspace with accents we love, we jumped at the opportunity.

JG: Each of these pieces were created with well-thought-out finishing details that make the basics feel more unique and tailored. They’re sophisticated and stylish while still being highly functional.

What are your favorite pieces from the new collection?

CS: My favorite product from the collection is the sticky note set. We partnered directly with 3M to deliver Post-it brand quality with Sugar Paper design, resulting in sticky notes that are both functional and beautiful.

JG: We also created a limited-edition desk that is crisp, high-gloss white with brass detailing. It’s the perfect foundation to any chic workspace.

How can guests incorporate the new Sugar Paper for Target line into their current workspaces?

JG: For us, it’s all about having items that feel special and make you happy to be at your workspace. Each piece in this line is a functional and useful office item that has been elevated to make it stand out and look meaningful.

CS: These are all everyday workspace pieces that everyone needs, but we’ve added our sophisticated and feminine style to make using them a bit more chic and enjoyable. The simplicity of the line is echoed throughout with all of the white with gold accents, which allows for it to be seamlessly incorporated into any existing workspace.

The new Sugar Paper for Target collection will be available at all Target stores and on Target.com starting in early July. Prices range from $1.99 to $399.99 for the high-gloss desk.
