With so many events and parties during the holidays, what’s a girl to wear? According to Target Stylist Zanna Roberts Rassi, the answer is actually quite simple: Shimmer and shine.
“Gold, silver and sequins are special and precious, just like the holiday season,” Zanna tells us. “They represent celebration.”
This trend is both fashionable and fun: think embellishments, tulle and bright colors mixed together. And with each piece under $25, parents can easily keep their holiday budgets intact.
Below, the fashion guru shares style tips for every photo-worthy occasion:
A Formal Affair
“This sleeveless dress in hot pink is an attention grabber when paired with black tights,” said Zanna. “ Bonus? "This color helps camouflage stains from spilled juice or other holiday treats to ensure your little one is always ready for her close up."
“This gold leopard blouse with jeans is perfect for caroling or a festive brunch,” said Zanna. “I like to add a layer over the blouse with a faux fur jacket or vest.”
New Year’s Eve Events
“An A-line sequin skirt with a plain long-sleeve t-shirt and a pair of leggings is all you need,” said Zanna. “This outfit is comfy on what will be a long and late night. She can always take off the skirt and run around in the leggings and t-shirt!”
“When I was growing up, the party dress was the most special item in my wardrobe,” said Zanna. “I couldn’t wait for the opportunity to wear it. I want kids everywhere to feel that same excitement!”
