Read on to check out her entertaining family activities that tap into creativity and customization, with all the products you need available at Target!

Personalized Letter Painting

What You’ll Need:

What You’ll Do:

  1. Pick wooden letters that spell out your child’s name or initials.
  2. Get creative with paint colors, using the paintbrushes to fully coat each letter with the color of your choice.
  3. Challenge your child to show off their own individual style, adding design and detail to each letter with different color paints.

 

Custom Stamped T-Shirts

What You’ll Need:

What You’ll Do:

  1. Lay the plain tee flat over old newspapers.
  2. Use a paintbrush to coat stamps with your paint color of choice.
  3. Firmly press the stamps face down on the tee in your desired design.
  4. Allow to dry overnight.

 

Lemonade Yogurt Pops With Berries

Makes 10 pops

What You’ll Need:

What You’ll Do:

  1. Whisk lemonade and yogurt in large bowl until smooth.
  2. Fill each cup or mold about 2/3 full; freeze for 1 hour.
  3. Sprinkle berries into each cup and stir lightly to distribute using wooden sticks; leave sticks in center of cups.
  4. Freeze until solid, 2 to 3 hours longer. To remove cup, warm in hands a few seconds.

Tip: To keep sticks centered, cover each cup with foil so stick pierces center.

 

Chili Lime Popcorn

Makes 10 cups

What You’ll Need:

  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tbsp. garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. cumin seed
  • 2 tbsp. lime zest, grated
  • 10 cups popcorn
  • 1 tsp. ancho chili powder, or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne

What You’ll Do:

  1. Melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cumin seed.
  2. Cook, stirring, 1 minute.
  3. Add lime zest; cook, stirring, until garlic is golden.
  4. Put popcorn in a large bowl. Add butter mixture and stir popcorn until well coated with seasoned butter.
  5. Sprinkle with chili powder, salt, paprika and cayenne.
