Adele fans eager to sing hello to the British songbird’s new album “25,” out Nov. 20, just experienced the first part of our latest #MoreMusic campaign: Adele and Target are bringing fans a preview of the highly anticipated album before it is released on Friday.
Adele’s “21” is Target’s top-selling album to date and, if that track record is any indication, “25” is going to be one of our biggest albums ever! So naturally, we wanted to find a special way to mark its arrival!
“The level of excitement around this album is unprecedented,” said Rick Gomez, senior vice president, Brand and Category Marketing, Target. “We know guests will fall in love with the Target exclusive deluxe edition but, in the meantime, we couldn’t resist surprising them with a sneak peek of what’s to come later this week.”
Last month, we jetted off to London where 20-time MTV Video Music Award winner and three-time GRAMMY Award winner Mark Romanek helped us and our partners at Deutsch to create a truly unique way to share “25” with eagerly awaiting fans. The end result? A series of spots bringing Adele’s music to life in a way that no one else can, featuring exclusive previews of “Hello,” “When We Were Young,” “Million Years Ago,” “Sweetest Devotion,” “Remedy,” “All I Ask” and “Water Under the Bridge.”
Fans tuning in to hit television shows “Nashville,” “Supernatural” and “Criminal Minds” on Nov. 18 received a stunning new look at the hit single “Hello” and “When We Were Young.” Five additional spots will make their debut Nov. 19 at 8 PM EST across TV, cable and on second-screens like Hulu. And for those of us who want to watch the series again (and again, and again), have no fears! Beginning Thursday, all seven spots can be can watched and re-watched to your heart’s content at Target.com/adele.
