Parfait Hacks: Put Some Extra ‘Yum’ in Your Yogurt

Yogurt parfaits make for easy breakfast decadence: three simple layers of creamy yogurt, crunchy granola and fresh fruit. It's hard to improve on that kind of time-tested favorite—but the breakfast-lovers in our Target Test Kitchen set out to do just that, reimagining the classic parfait with new flavors and textures to delight the taste buds. Say hello to banana chips, pistachios, peanut butter and more! Give these 12 yogurt hacks a go and let us know in the comments which recipe you like best!

Chunky Monkey

Top yogurt with granola, banana chips, chocolate chips, and a dollop of Simply Balanced peanut butter or Simply Balanced almond butter.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookie

Top yogurt with rolled oats, raisins and sprinkle with cinnamon and Simply Balanced organic brown sugar.

Blueberry Waffle

Top toasted waffle with yogurt, fresh blueberries, sliced almonds and drizzle with Simply Balanced organic maple syrup.

Mango and Coconut

Top yogurt with Simply Balanced granola, cut-up mango, Simply Balanced organic cashews (chopped) and shredded coconut.  

Nuts and Seeds

Orange & Black

Top yogurt with granola, orange marmalade, chopped pecans and fresh blackberries.

Pomegranate & Spice

Stir pumpkin spice and honey into yogurt, top with granola, roasted almonds and pomegranate seeds. 

Banana Breakfast Split

Slice banana in half lengthwise, spread banana halves with chocolate hazelnut spread and top with yogurtgranola, fresh berries, flax seed and drizzle with Simply Balanced honey.

Yogurt and Cucumber Dip

Combine 1/4 cup yogurt, 1/2 cup diced cucumber, 1/2 avocado, cut-up and 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice. Season with salt to taste and serve with Simply Balanced tortilla chips
