But today we’re stealing tricks from artisan pizza shops to show you how to transform the play-time snack into an Instagram-ready, gourmet meal for the whole family.

The Sweet and Spicy

Heat your oven to 400 degrees F. Prepare your pizza bagels on a baking sheet. Top with a light drizzle of honey, a couple slices of meat and a pinch of chili flakes. Bake for 10 minutes or until done.

 

Mushroom Mouthful

Heat your oven to 400 degrees F. Prepare your pizza bagels on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until done. As the pizza bagels cook, heat a sauté pan over medium heat. Add a good glug of olive oil to the skillet and then add the mushrooms and garlic. (You’ll want about two cloves of garlic per one lb of mushrooms). Sauté until tender, and season with a pinch of thyme, salt and pepper. Top the pizza bagels with mushrooms.

 

The Garden of Eatin’

Heat your oven to 400 degrees F. Prepare your pizza bagels on a baking sheet. Top with sliced cherry tomatoes. Bake for 10 minutes or until done. Meanwhile, rib and thinly slice your kale. Add kale ribbons to the baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake until crispy. Top the pizza bagels with the crispy kale.

 

Full of Hearts

Heat your oven to 400 degrees F. Prepare your pizza bagels on a baking sheet. Top with artichoke hearts, a good dollop of Taleggio and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Bake for 10 minutes or until done.

 

The Italiano

Heat your oven to 400 degrees F. Heat a sauté pan over medium heat. Add a small pad of butter to the skillet along with the onion. Cook until translucent. Prepare your pizza bagels on a baking sheet. Top with sliced cherry tomatoes, sautéed onion, and a pinch of Parmesan. Bake for 10 minutes or until done. Add a few leaves of fresh arugula on top of each mini pizza bagel, drizzle with balsamic vinegar and sprinkle with sea salt.

 

The Mediterranean

What You’ll Do:

Heat your oven to 400 degrees F. Create zucchini ribbons or spirals with a mandolin, food processor, spiralizer or knife. Prepare your pizza bagels on a baking sheet. Top with zucchini, feta cheese and olives. Bake 10 minutes or until done. Drizzle olive oil and eat!
