Story Time Never Has to End Thanks To Two New Target Collections

Ever wish that you could become the characters in your favorite storybook? Well, now you can! At Target, creatures and characters from the timeless children’s books “Where The Wild Things Are” and “The Shy Little Kitten" are jumping from the pages onto t-shirts, dresses, hoodies and more!

Now your little ones can read and wear the two classic tales thanks to these adorable (and comfortable) Target exclusive collections of apparel and accessories created exclusively by Target’s design team to outfit an adventure of any size!

Brave explorer Max and wild thing Carol (she’s not as scary as she seems…we promise!) are continuing their journey by coming to life like you’ve never seen them before on patterned cargo pants, super comfy illustrated tees and plush hooded sweatshirts with ears.

If your little one is more timid kitten than creature, check out the purr-fect collection of soft-as-fur t-shirts from “The Shy Little Kitten” collection. But we know that each kitten has a personality of its own! With sparkly graphic t-shirts and vibrant patterned dresses also part of this collection, there’s nothing to be shy about— your tiny tot will be feeling cozy and cute anywhere from the playground to preschool to bed.

“When we set out to design these two collections, our goal was to capture what both parents and children are looking for – fun and whimsical designs that feel as great as they look,” says Julie Guggemos, senior vice president, Product Design and Development, Target. "The collections have only been available for a couple weeks, but it’s fun to see how parents are already sharing their excitement.”
