You’re invited to enter Target’s plaid, plaid world this fall. To get you in a tartan tizzy, here’s your first look at the entire plaid look book, including a very special collection from designer Adam Lippes.
“Plaid has been a defining element of style for every generation,” says Julie Guggemos, Target senior vice president, Product Design and Development. “With an increased focus on style, we’re doubling down on offering our guests fun, compelling design-inspired surprises around every corner by embracing one of this season's biggest trends, plaid, in a way only Target can.”
Starting in late August and continuing through October, we’re rolling out products across tons of different categories. Get ready for apparel (hello, plaid puffer coats), grocery essentials (the chicest plaid Diet Coke bottles you’ve ever seen), and home goods (the plaid pouf is a must-have) that will have you rethinking how to incorporate the cross-hatch pattern into every outfit and room in your home.
The takeover also features the limited-edition Adam Lippes for Target collaboration with more than 50 items emblazoned with the designer’s interpretation of Buffalo plaid. The collection includes women’s and men’s apparel, shoes, accessories and home décor items. The assortment will be available in select Target stores and on Target.com beginning Sept. 27.
Check out Adam and Marie Claire senior fashion editor Zanna Roberts Rassi talking all things plaid.
