Inside Scoop: Nicolette, Gabi and Chastity Return for AVA & VIV's Fall Line

"Fall #AVAandVIV is coming, and it's REALLY good,” teased Marie Claire columnist Nicolette Mason on Twitter back on July 13. You may remember Nicolette—along with plus-size fashion bloggers Gabi Gregg and Chastity Garner-Valentine—from the debut of AVA & VIV, our new plus-size clothing line.

After a super successful launch, the fashionistas provided first-hand feedback to our design team on what worked, what could be improved upon and what their readers and fans crave in a clothing line. Going into fall, they helped inform the Target team's sketches of coordinated sets, bottoms, tops and cozy outwear—everything a girl could want for updating a closet when the leaves begin to turn.

Recently, they got to see the results of their recommendations when they tried on the fall denim, textured fabrics and plaid garments they helped perfect.

“I love fall; it’s the best fashion,” Gabi remarked. "Getting to see how our input lead to the actual collection was amazing. I told the designers at Target that I love soft pant joggers and printed sets, and I’m happy to see they designed more of those.”

Chastity was thrilled with the incorporation of bold prints and form-fitting dresses. “The prints from AVA & VIV this fall are absolutely perfect,” she said. "They can easily be worked into your current wardrobe as you transition to the next season.”

The fall line is also versatile. “There are pieces in this collection that I absolutely love that you can wear from work to weekend and look great,” raved Nicolette.
