Before the school year begins, we put our heads together to come up with the ultimate denim collection every student needs to kick their term off with an A+. And we went straight to the very subjects who know “back to school” better than anyone to put it to the test: kids.
Our newest commercial—airing for the first time on Aug. 2—stars a whole crew of influential kids meant to inspire their peers and show Target’s new line of stretchy denim in action. Dance stars Maddie Ziegler, Mace Maya, Kida the Great and more are suiting up and giving their very best high kicks, leaps and backflips. The break-dancing, pirouetting and pop-and-locking all-stars flaunt the flexibility and comfort of the latest back-to-school style, sure to help kids rock out the school year.
The spot’s soundtrack is equally as noteworthy, featuring an old school tune with a new school twist: singer Tori Kelly belts out an impressive remake of the Jackson 5 classic “ABC!” Get a glimpse of some of the behind-the-scenes action, below:
