Join us on a musical trip down memory lane as we recap the album launches that made Target’s year. To paraphrase Taylor Swift in a certain summer anthem, we’ve got this music in our minds and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Taylor Swift, “1989”
First, she hits us with “Shake it Off,” then we got “Out of the Woods” and “Welcome to New York.” Basically we haven’t stopped singing since. Are we surprised that Taylor’s album is the only album released in 2014 to go platinum? Not at all.

Florida Georgia Line, “Anything Goes”
Windows down, radio up and cruising; is there any other way to listen to this CMA award-winning band?

5 Seconds of Summer, “5 Seconds of Summer”
“Five Seconds of Summer,” four Target-exclusive tracks, three hit singles (including “She Looks so Perfect,” a VMA Best Lyric Video winner), two tours…Yes 2014 has been one great year!

Sam Smith, “In the Lonely Hour”
Every time GRAMMYÒ-nominated singer Sam Smith sings, hearts melt all over the world. “Stay with Me”? Yes, Sam Smith, we did, right through the TK bonus tracks on the Target exclusive album.

Coldplay, Ghost Stories
There’s no denying it…we got chills when we went behind the scenes of GRAMMY®-nominated group Coldplay’s “Sky Full of Stars” commercial for Target.

Shakira, “Shakira”
Whether you listen to “Shakira” in English, Spanish or both, we can all agree those tunes, much like the singer herself, are muy caliente.

Juanes, “Crazy with Love”
What else can we say except that, yes, we’re “Crazy with Love” for Juanes’ exclusive Target DVD, which featured behind-the-scenes footage from his “La Luz” music video set and footage from his “Loco de Amor – The Studio Sessions” recordings.
