Giving back has never looked so good. Last night, TOMS Founder and Chief Shoe Giver Blake Mycoskie, actress Jennifer Garner, actress and The Honest Company founder Jessica Alba, actress Sarah Hyland and more hit the red carpet to celebrate the TOMS for Target collaboration, which launches Nov. 16. Needless to say, we’re counting the days!
Set to the backdrop of a local farmer’s market, the BookBindery — a refurbished book binding warehouse in the heart of LA’s Culver City — was transformed into a rustic, ready-to-shop emporium. Guests enjoyed family-friendly activities, including DIY gifting tables, a photo shoot station, entertainment by DJ Hapa and a live performance by American folk-rock band Dawes.
The TOMS for Target collection includes more than 50 pieces of apparel, accessories, shoes, home goods, and more, each under $50. For every item purchased, a blanket, meals or shoes will be given to a person in need via the American Red Cross, Canadian Red Cross, Feeding America and Food Banks Canada, with the potential to provide more than 11 million meals, blankets and shoes to those in need.
