For many designers, inspiration can come from almost anywhere. For Joseph Altuzarra and his new Target collection, it came from actually getting to everywhere.
“The inspiration for this collection was based on a global travel narrative,” says the designer.
Debuting in most Target stores in the U.S. and Canada, as well as on Target.com and NET-A-PORTER.COM on Sept. 14, the limited-edition fall collection includes elevated pieces — classic trench coats, blazers, pencil skirts, blouses and more — tailored for the modern, feminine and confident woman.
Altuzarra for Target reflects the brand’s sophisticated spirit, resulting in an intricate, detailed collection to complement a busy, stylish lifestyle. Joseph and Target fittingly choose globetrotting supermodel Eva Herzigova to star in the ad campaign.
Want more? Yeah, so did we. We asked Joseph to share his sketch book and the collection look book to see how each carefully-created piece evolved from the paper to the hanger.
