Target's Cartwheel app celebrates it's first birthday with crowd-sourced deals.

If you’re one of the 7.7 million users of Cartwheel, then you know the power of a good on-the-go deal.

The popular mobile coupon app was released just a year ago and its customizable deals and discounts have already enabled guests to save more than $84 million! Target is celebrating the one-year anniversary of Cartwheel in a number of ways, including letting fans choose the next big Cartwheel offer.

Now through July 10, you can cast your vote on deals in honor of Cartwheel’s first birthday — from strollers and swimwear to eggs and electronics. The winning deal will then be available to all Cartwheel users from July 13 to 14.

Other noteworthy anniversary moments include:

* Cartwheel is growing up – this week it’s coming off of beta and the logo will receive a new look.
* Guests can earn a birthday badge by using Cartwheel from July 13 – 19, which, like all badges, unlocks another offer spot in their Cartwheel.
* To sweeten the celebration, a birthday party will be held at all Super Target locations on July 13. Cartwheel experts will be on hand to demo the app. And, of course, there will be birthday cake!

“Millions of guests have fallen in love with Cartwheel,” says Casey Carl, president of omnichannel at Target. “But we’re not standing still – we listen to feedback from guests and act on it to continually improve our digital offerings.”
