One of Target’s three priorities is to accelerate our digital transformation. Last week, headquarters team members were introduced to Target’s new Digital Advisory Council, which is comprised of four tech superstars: Match.com CEO and OkCupid founder Sam Yagan, Orbitz Worldwide’s Roger Liew, Bain Capital Ventures’ Ajay Agarwal and Accompani CEO/former Google Analytics lead Amy Chang.

According to Target President of Multichannel Casey Carl, the council will provide “fresh, disruptive ideas that will help us reinvent the Target run for tomorrow’s guests.”

“The idea came about 18 months ago during one of our Silicon Valley trips with a few members of Target’s Leadership Team,” says Stephanie Farsht, senior group manager business development, Enterprise Growth Initiatives. The council will meet quarterly with Target’s omnichannel team and other leaders and will provide intermittent help on recruiting, advising and more. “We will lean on them for different topics depending on the situation,” Stephanie adds.
