The Sound of Success: A Look at Target’s Exclusive Music Partnerships

Today, Billboard Magazine will once again honor the best and brightest female artists and executives in the music business at its annual Billboard Women in Music event in New York.

Now in its eighth year, the event coincides with the publication of the iconic Women in Music Power Players list, or what we like to call the Women Who Rock list.

There are a few familiar faces being honored this year, including Target exclusive artists P!nk (Woman of the Year) and Janelle Monáe (Rising Star Award), and Anne Stanchfield, Target’s divisional merchandise manager of entertainment (2013 Women in Music Honoree).

“I’m so honored to be included among such talented women from all corners of the music industry,” says Stanchfield. “We’re thrilled that Billboard recognizes Target’s commitment to collaborating with today’s top artists, giving our guests more of the music they love.”
