A “Beta" Way to Shop: Introducing Target Awesome Shop

Target’s guests have a passion for shopping and we’re always testing out new ways to enhance their experience — say, for example, our digital savings tool Cartwheel.

Our latest initiative, launching in beta this month, is designed to make shopping online even more, well, awesome. Meet the Target Awesome Shop, Target’s new website that combines two things we know our guests love: Pinterest and top-rated Target.com products.

This curated crop of trending items is a shoppable visual catalog that inspires gift ideas and helps you discover cool stuff that everyone’s currently loving!

Whether it’s a fabulous faux fur rug or a top toy, each item featured in the Target Awesome Shop is one of the most-pinned Target.com products on Pinterest in the last few days. Best part? Target Awesome Shop only includes products that have at least a 4-star guest review (or no reviews so far) so you’re getting a double stamp of approval.

Target’s RAD (Rapid Accelerated Development) team built Target Awesome Shop in a matter of a few weeks! The RAD group is a small team of Target digital experts who can work quickly to bring a new idea to life.

We’ve just recently had team members try out the new beta website, and now you can, too! Target wants the experience to be as awesome as possible, so let us know what you think. We’ll be paying close attention to guest feedback as we make updates and consider new features like adding more social platforms to the mix.
