It’s 7 a.m., the turkey and stuffing are long gone, but Target’s savvy guests have been bustling through our nearly 2,000 stores since 8 p.m. Thursday, snagging deals on this season’s most popular picks.
This year, doors opened even earlier and hundreds, sometimes even thousands of guests lined up outside stores nationwide, prepared with their weekly ads, Cartwheel app and maps ready to get their hands on the hottest deals. (Fun fact: people started lining up at a Texas store last Sunday! Now that’s what we call dedication.)
Guests grabbed everything from apparel to electronics to add to their #TargetHaul with the iPad Air, TVs and Zoomer the Robot Dogs flying off the shelves. The Element 50-inch TV sold out of some stores in minutes!
And for those who were still in a food coma and preferred shopping from the comforts of their own living room – Target.com saw twice as many orders this year than last.
Black Friday deals last through Nov. 30, but this is just the beginning. Check back on Sunday, Dec. 1 for Cyber Week’s daily doorbusters and more than 100,000 items on sale. Happy shopping!
