Peruse the party pics below, and get a taste of the inspiration behind each event straight from David.

Bullseye Inn: “The transformation of an iconic, historic inn in Bridgehampton, N.Y. was akin to falling down the rabbit hole — two floors of zany, eye-popping fun, all decorated in a tongue-in-cheek period style meets Target fabulosity.  It was so gratifying to create the custom wallpapers for each of the inn’s rooms, and while not intended to be sold, the general public clamored for it.”

Missoni for Target Pop Up“I’ll never forget the lines of hundreds upon hundreds of people cueing around the block to get into the store. I’ll also never forget their joy as they entered the pattern-on-pattern kaleidoscope of an environment that was one part theater and one part retail.  The best store experiences are just that:  A stage for a theatrical drama to unfold in.

Prabal Garung for Target Launch: “Events are all about surprise for me, and I am so proud of the astonishment we created with this one.  The perfect romantic carnival on the perfect, magical street, replete with rides, games, prizes, carnival food fantasies, a boutique to shop the Prabal Gurung for Target collection and a performance by Ne-Yo.

Sonia Kashuk Bath & Body Pop-up Shop: “How do you get the attention of 10,000 commuters a day at Grand Central Station?  Invite them to luxuriate in a giant ‘bubble bath’ created by thousands of white balloons!  This event trumpets one of our prime focuses:  Elevating event décor to the realm of cutting edge installation art. The humble balloon is such a fantastic metaphor, bringing laser focus to the bath and Sonia’s collection while drawing you in with glee.”
