We know you love to shop Target each and every way you can: in store, on Target.com, on mobile and on Pinterest. And now, we’re offering guests another way to get their hands on online orders with a Store Pickup option.

Don’t want to wait to have your order shipped? Visit Target.com, where you’ll find more than 35,000 items that you can purchase online and have ready and waiting for pickup at a nearby store in as soon as a few hours. Items available for Store Pickup range from electronics to home furnishings, and apparel to baby-care items.

We launched Store Pickup to guests early this month in Minneapolis, and the service has now rolled out to more than 1,200 stores – about two-thirds of all Target locations. The rollout to all U.S. stores is to be completed by Nov. 1.

Guests should know that, like most good things, there are some exclusions. Certain items – such as groceries, limited-time offerings like designer collaborations and merchandise sold only on Target.com— aren’t initially going to be eligible for Store Pickup. Also, the service won’t be available Thanksgiving week this year, Sunday Nov. 24 through Saturday Nov. 30.

We expect to learn a lot as guests begin to use this service, so we’ll listen to feedback and make tweaks along the way. Guests will have opportunities to take short surveys about their experience, and are always encouraged to fill out a feedback form on Target.com

So, how exactly does Store Pickup work? It’s pretty simple. You can check out the FAQs at Target.com, and take a look below…
