The design duo Peter Pilotto launch an exclusive collection with Target in February 2014

London-based Peter Pilotto designs a spring collection for Target

The latest spring fashions from Peter Pilotto wowed the fashion world at London Fashion Week, but it was four words that flashed at close of the runway presentation that sent the audience abuzz: PETER PILOTTO for Target.

Available Feb. 9, 2014, at most Target stores in the U.S. and Canada, as well as Target.com, PETER PILOTTO for Target exemplifies the designers’ distinct aesthetic, combining digital prints in striking blues and greens and warm reds and oranges. The assortment features nearly 70 items ranging in price from $14.99 to $79.99 for women’s apparel and swimwear, and $16.99 to $39.99 for accessories.

“By working with Target, we’re able to broaden our reach and bring our design aesthetic to an entirely new audience,” says Peter Pilotto (pictured above right), one half of the design duo that also includes Christopher De Vos (pictured above left). “Our collection for Target embodies the elegance and spirit of our own line, but makes it accessible to everyone,” adds De Vos.

Additionally, Target is partnering with online luxury retailer Net-a-Porter to offer international fans of PETER PILOTTO a curated assortment of the limited-edition Target collection. “By partnering with Net-a-Porter, we’re able to introduce Target’s democratic approach to design to a new, international audience,” says Trish Adams, senior vice president, Merchandising.
