Target is teaming up with WIRED magazine, a trusted source for information on the latest innovative technologies, to offer WIRED Editors’ Picks for Target, a custom-curated assortment of gadgets.

The assortment, which launched Sunday, April 28, takes the WIRED editors’ favorite products in consumer electronics and organizes them in one easy-to-spot endcap in Target stores and at Target.com

But not just any product was chosen for the exclusive assortment. First, top products from multiple brands were tested by WIRED’s editors for quality, value and fun. Next, only the top 11 products were chosen as featured items for the in-store endcap selection. Target.com will offer the in-store assortment, as well as 16 additional items selected by WIRED editors.  All products are designed to help boost users’ productivity and solve daily problems.

Target guests can easily browse this variety of unique new gadgets that has been specifically chosen for them and certified from a credible source as the best on the market. The gadgets, starting at $9.99, are organized into four categories—photo, music, productivity and body—to help guests make a convenient, informed decision about their purchase. A few highlights:

Olloclip iPhone lens (photo): Available for the iPhone 5 online and in-store, the Olloclip iPhone lens is a snap-on, super portable lens that instantly allows you to capture new effects on photos including fish-eye, macro and wide-angle views.

NuForce NE-600 M/X (music): New to Target, NuForce NE-600 M/X are super powerful, clear ear buds and sound better than competitors three times their price.

Belkin WeMo Switch (productivity): Like a whole-home remote control, you can plug a lamp, stereo, coffee maker or almost anything into the WeMo Switch and you're ready to control it with the WeMo app.

Fitbit One Activity + Sleep Tracker (body): Monitor your day-to-day activity with the Fitbit One. This wireless gadget attaches to an article of clothing (and comes in many colors to match your style!) and tracks your steps, distance, calories burned, and stairs climbed. It also monitors your sleep and wakes you with a silent alarm, then synchs to your computer for an overall well-being view.
