The Bandy Perry - Pioneer at Target

The Band Perry—made up of siblings Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry—catapulted into country music stardom with the success of their quadruple-platinum hit “If I Die Young” from their self-titled debut album in 2010.

Two and a half years later, the band has millions of dedicated fans and plenty of shiny hardware (they’ve won multiple Country Music Awards and received GRAMMY and Billboard Music Award nominations). Thankfully, fans won’t have to wait much longer for their highly anticipated sophomore album, “PIONEER.”

Launching April 2, the sibling trio announced an exclusive deluxe edition of the album, which will be available only at Target.

“The recording of ‘PIONEER’ has been an amazing experience that pushed our limits and allowed us to grow as both songwriters and musicians,” said Reid Perry of The Band Perry. “The four additional songs on the Target exclusive were recorded before we were signed, and even though these songs are from the early days, they foreshadowed what was to come. We can’t think of a better place to premiere them.”

Featuring four original, unreleased songs, (“Gonna Be OK,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Lucky Ones” and “Peaches and Caroline”) the album is available for pre-order now at Target.com, and a limited quantity of CDs signed by the band are available while supplies last.

Stay tuned for April 2, but if you can’t wait that long, take a peek at a couple behind-the-scenes photos of The Band Perry from a recent video shoot shot this week in Nashville!
