New York Fashion Week started yesterday, but the fashion crowd got an early start Wednesday night at the carnival-themed launch party for Prabal Gurung’s collection for Target.
Target turned Hudson River Park’s Pier 57 into a festival, complete with rides, games and a theater for previewing the Target ad, traditional fare (think mini fries, pies and ice cream cones), food trucks galore and a red carpet packed with celebs.
Carey Mulligan, Elizabeth Olsen, Rashida Jones, Isabelle Fuhrman, Analeigh Tipton and more all came out to celebrate. And Olivia Thirlby—the star of the ad campaign—looked lovely in a black floral frock from the collection!
Attendees flocked to the event boutique, where they could shop the collection before it hits stores this Sunday, Feb. 10. DJ Mia Moretti kept the party going with tunes from atop a truck, while Ne-Yo shook up the stage with a surprise performance. The R&B star sang songs off his hit album “R.E.D.,” including “Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself)” and “Let’s Go.” Check it out below!
