The news about Target’s next designer partnership is so exciting that even the ultimate fashion authority Vogue.comlink opens in a new window had to weigh in on the major news, “Who hasn’t designed for Target? Well, according to Prabal Gurung—the latest designer to collaborate with the mega-store—the better question is who has?”
“It’s almost like a rite of passage for new, young designers,” says Gurung. “This collection was inspired by love and if Target’s guests can feel even a little bit of the love that I felt while I was designing this collection, then I will consider it a job well done.”
Ranging in price from $19.99 to $199.99 for apparel and $12.99 to $39.99 for jewelry, handbags and shoes, the Prabal Gurung for Target collection reflects Gurung’s distinct aesthetic—impeccable tailoring, feminine silhouettes, striking prints, hot-hued palettes and sleek styles. The collection includes nearly 80 items and will be available at all Target stores and Target.com Feb. 10 through March 23, 2013, while supplies last.
