Behind the Scenes of

As big kids ourselves, we’ve had faraway fantasies of a wonderland filled with toys, candy, clothes and a crew of friendly creatures. What can we say? During the holidays, our imaginations run wild—there’s way more than just visions of sugarplums dancing in our heads.

Right on cue, Target’s new holiday commercial encourages guests to “Dream Big.”

So how did the whimsical, winter world come to life? With a set that took four full days to build, the commercial was shot on the famed Universal Lot over two days (right next door to “The Voice”). Two feet of fake snow covered the entire set, where the crew built a world out of Target toys—including Lego mountains and trees, Crayola Crayon paths and a life-sized Disney Princess Castle.

Check out our behind-the-scenes video from on set and the finished commercial, below!
