Target never stops!

It seems like we just marked our calendars for the Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection and it’s already time to bust out the Sharpie again. Today, Target announced celebrated designer Prabal Gurung will create a limited-edition line of women’s ready-to-wear and accessories, including handbags, shoes and jewelry available Feb. 10, 2013 at all Target stores and on

The Prabal Gurung for Target collection reflects the designer’s distinct aesthetic—impeccable tailoring and feminine silhouettes. From refined dresses and blazers to jewelry and sleek shoes in striking prints and palettes, the collection ranges in price from $12.99 to $199.99 and features nearly 80 items.

Check out a first look at the collection, below! Flowers anyone?

The Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection isn’t even out yet, and you’re already teaming up with Target again?
Prabal Gurung: The Holiday Collection definitely gave me a taste of what the partnership would be like, but this collection took it to a whole new level. I knew Target would be a great partner to introduce an affordable collection that still reflected my design aesthetic.

Have you always wanted to create a mass collection?
PG: I believe collaborations are important to remaining fresh and relevant in the fast-moving world of fashion and most importantly, they allow you to reach a wider audience. For me, it is an exciting challenge to interpret my aesthetic into a mass-produced product.

What is the inspiration behind the collection?
PG: The collection is inspired by a girl’s journey through the different stages of love and the clothes she wears during each milestone—from the first date to meeting the parents to the engagement.

Was designing for a bigger audience different from your luxury collection?
PG: Mixing “high” and “mass” fashion is the modern way of dressing; people don’t wear head-to-toe high-end designers anymore. These types of collaborations allow people to experience designer clothes at an affordable price, while still maintaining the look of luxury. So I worked side-by-side with Target to create the highest quality product at amazing prices. I think you’ll be impressed with the level of quality in the collection.

You heard it here! Mark your calendars for the Prabal Gurung for Target collection on Feb. 10. Check back throughout the upcoming months for more exciting news about the line.
