“Target is a design house,” says Michael Alexin, Target’s vice president of Product Design and Development (PD&D). His team helps create some of the amazing apparel and accessories that Target is known for—from owned brands like Merona, Xhiliration and Mossimo. In addition to exclusive brands found only at Target, Michael and his team collaborate with high-end designers (think Missoni and Liberty of London) to create limited-time-only collections.
Below, Michael lets us in on the design process and talks about collaborations Target has in store.
