For the third consecutive year, after nearly 1.5 million votes from more than 200 countries, Target took home a Webby Award for our Target iPhone app – an achievement hailed as the "Internet's highest honor" by The New York Times.

Up against brands like Gilt, Harrods, Hyundai and Shopkick in the Mobile Shopping category, Target's iPhone app earned both the Webby Award (chosen by members of the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences) and the Webby People's Voice Award (chosen by open online voting).

"This year's winners represent an amazing cross-section of the new and continuing trends we've seen across the Internet this year," said David-Michel Davies, executive director of the Webby Awards.
