Since 2004, shop owners Paul Birardi and Eddy Chai have offered the men of New York City a bevy of style solutions at their boutique, Odin. Come Sept. 9, Birardi and Chai will take their Soho shop nationwide with Odin for Target—one of four shops in the fall 2012 installment of the The Shops at Target —with a limited-time-only collection just for men.
Known for reliable staples like plaid, collared shirts, hiking boots, denim and slouchy tees, Odin in New York City offers college students, dads, tech workers and media types, alike, pieces from up-and-coming designers, as well as a small selection of personal grooming products. For their Target collection, the shop-owner pair wants to appeal to an equally broad audience—from the sartorially savvy to the guy that just can’t part with his favorite pair of jeans.
The Odin at Target collection features sweaters, henleys, button-down shirts, pants, shoes and accessories. Simple in design, Birardi and Chai focused on the subtle details, such as hidden zippers and intricate stitching, for a style that’s grown-up and can easily be worn from season to season.
