The much buzzed about first set of The Shops at Target – our fresh take on design partnerships – launched on May 6. And right on the heels of the launch comes the announcement of the next batch of shops set to team up with Target. “The first flight of The Shops only solidified Target’s reputation as a purveyor of innovative design for the masses,” says Jessica Carlson, Target Communications. “The fall installment will continue to deliver what the first flight offered – a taste of the unexpected, not to mention the opportunity for guests to update their wardrobes and homes.” Come Sept. 9, fashion-savvy and home-design-obsessed guests will be able to get their hands on collections from four U.S. specialty stores:
-
Patch NYC – a home gallery, ironically not located in New York City, but in Boston, offering a selection of art, home décor, candles, jewelry and accessories.
-
The Curiosity Shoppe – a home, accessories, gifts, crafts and games shop tucked away in San Francisco’s Mission District.
-
Kirna Zabête – a New York City-based women’s fashion boutique carrying clothing, jewelry and accessories from the likes of avant-garde designers Balenciaga and Lanvin.
-
Odin – a men’s lifestyle shop in New York City, carrying high-end lines from well-known and emerging fashion designers such as Phillip Lim and Thom Browne.
