Target Hosts Late-Night Twilight Party for Breaking Dawn

Black Friday was the first time in history that Target kept its doors open past closing time for the sake of late-night shopping. And now, 500 Target stores nationwide will once again extend store hours for a special event.

Prepare yourselves, people.

In honor of Summit Entertainment’s “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” DVD and Blu-ray release, Twi-hards can take a bite of an exclusive, never-release scene from the final film in the celebrated series, out in theaters in Nov. Fans will also be greeted by a video message from Jackson Rathbone!

Did you hear that? It was the sound of thousands of fan-pires fainting.

The mania begins at twilight (11 p.m.) on Feb. 10 at select stores across the country. You might be asking yourself, “What’s a Twi-hard?” and “Why so late?” Our answers: Twi-hards are fans for life, and because vampires don’t sleep.

Then, at midnight, fans can purchase an exclusive Target version of the DVD, which includes a treasured memento from the “Breaking Dawn” movie set. No – it’s not Robert Pattinson (unfortunately). The DVD includes a lucite-encased flower from Bella and Edward’s whimsical wedding scene.

If you can’t wait until Feb. 10, pre-order the limited-edition DVD or Blue-ray and other Twilight goodies (and find out participating stores for the release event) at Target.com/Twilight.
