The renowned South African milliner has garnered great praise and a devout following thanks to his whimsical style and high-fashion sensibility. Albertus won the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award in 2008, and was nominated for CFDA Swarovski Award for Accessory Designer of the Year in 2009. And now, the designer’s hats can be found in his chic and affordable (all for under $20!) collection for Target. We even had a chance to chat with Albertus about his collection at the Vogue preview party earlier this month. Below, the designer shares his collection inspirations.
